Fifty Shades: the Christian Grey dilemma

It’s no secret what a lot of North Americans will be doing this Valentine’s Day. If you read the headlines, many will be taking in what some would bill a most unorthodox love story: Fifty Shades of Grey.

The film, an adaptation of the novel that has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide in spite of its over-reliance on cliché and routinely poor sentence structure, is already on pace for a record-setting weekend, expected to clear (on the conservative side of the estimate) $75 million in box office sales.
